This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and what rights you have. Processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national data protection law.

Swapride is currently a non-commercial project provided “as is”. The operator's contact and identification details will be completed before commercial launch.
2. What data we process
- Registration data: first name, last name, e-mail, phone number, password (in encrypted form).
- Listing content: vehicle details, price, photos, location (city / postal code) and description you provide.
- Communication: messages and inquiries between users within the portal.
- Third-party sign-in data (OAuth): if you sign in via Google or Facebook, we receive basic profile data (name and e-mail) needed to create and identify your account.
- Technical data: strictly necessary cookies, interface language and currency, and an anonymized (hashed) IP address for basic operational statistics. We do not build marketing profiles.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing the service (account creation, publishing listings, facilitating contact) — performance of a contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Security and abuse prevention (uniqueness checks, spam protection) — legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Compliance with legal obligations — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Marketing communication (if you enable it in settings) — your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time.
4. Recipients and processors
Your data may be made available to providers that operate the service on our behalf (hosting, e-mail delivery, third-party sign-in). These parties process data only on our instructions. We do not sell data to third parties.
5. Retention
We retain data for the lifetime of your account. After account deletion, data is anonymized and then permanently removed once the retention period elapses. Optional inactive content may be archived or removed under the listing lifecycle rules.
6. International transfers
When you sign in via Google or Facebook, data may be transferred to those providers in accordance with their own privacy policies. Otherwise, we process data within the EU/EEA.
7. Your rights
As a data subject you have the right to: access, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object. You may withdraw consent at any time. You can delete your account and data directly in Account Settings.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data. Passwords are stored in encrypted form and transmission occurs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
